Address Changes:Please notify the Township Assessor in writing of any address changes pertinent to your property. This would include the use of a Post Office Box. Include your tax ID number, address or location of property and the new address information. Forms are available at the Township Hall. Emergency ServicesFOR ANY EMERGENCY, DIAL 911, Emergency response for Lyndon Township are provided by calling 911. Response is by the Michigan State Police, Huron Valley Ambulance (HVA), Chelsea Area Fire Authority. There is a charge for some 911 calls, such as false alarms. There is no charge for emergency medical service. Be sure emergency vehicles can find your house and get into your driveway! You can purchase a green light-reflecting house number sign from the Fire Authority Ladies Auxiliary. Order forms are available at the Township office. Keep trees and brush cut back at LEAST 15 feet wide and 15 feet high in your driveway, so emergency vehicles can get into and out safely. Water Supply and Sewage DisposalMost homes in Lyndon Township use wells for onsite water supply and septic systems for onsite sewage disposal. Some properties, around some of the township lakes, however connect to off site sewage systems from either the Multi-Lakes Water and Sewer Authority or the Sylvan Township Water and Sewer Authority (note- these properties still need to use onsite water supply systems).. Contact the Lyndon Township office to determine if your property is part of either of these districts.
