| Township of Lyndon Lyndon Township lies in southeastern Michigan in the northwestern corner of Washtenaw County. The area is well known for its rolling glacial terrain, woodlands, lakes and wetlands that are perfect for outdoor activities. Most of the township is either low-density housing, state-owned lands, small scale agriculture or high density lake areas The majority of Lyndon Township residents have Chelsea mailing addresses, but some township residents may have Stockbridge, Grass Lake, Gregory or Pinckney mailing addresses. Most properties lie in the Chelsea School District, but some lie in the Stockbridge School District. Growth in Lyndon Township has been more limited than many of the townships in Washtenaw County, due to the vast amount of state-owned land as well as the underlying geology and terrain. Lyndon
